Stephen Moreno focuses on originating Southeast Georgia mortgage loans in Brunswick, Saint Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island and all of the Golden Isles. He is also licensed to originate mortgage loans in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Mississippi, Virginia, & Tennessee.
He is the sales manager for our office in Americus, Georgia where Josh Tondee and Lance Childers are helping to build Capital City Home Loans’ footprint in Southwest Georgia. He is also the sales manager for our mortgage offices in Dublin, Jonesville, Gainesville, and Savannah.
Stephen was born in Brunswick, Georgia and later spent many of his formative years in Americus, Georgia. He attended Georgia Southwestern State University attaining a Bachelors of Business Administration. There, he became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and was also involved in many other student organizations. After graduation, he began his career in customer service and sales and returned to the Golden Isles of Georgia. His banking career began as a teller and has since included personal banking, home equity lending, branch management and mortgage lending.
He has been recognized as an Elite Top Producer for Capital City Home Loans in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, & 2021. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Management for the Golden Isles YMCA, currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Golden Isles YMCA Foundation, and on multiple committees with the Golden Isles Association of Realtors
